The Lebanese painter Charbel Halal, known as the first famous painter in the Arab world, drew an impressive portrait of the late Sultan of Oman, Sultan Qaboos bin Said, in appreciation of his humanity and as an expression of gratitude to him, may God have mercy on him, for his love for his people and his country and his great interest in the issues of the Arab nation. The painting measures 60 x 80 cm and is painted in acrylic colors.
Commenting on this painting, the painter Charbel Halal, who is the first Lebanese to paint a portrait of Sultan Qaboos, said that he painted it with great love and mastery, to indicate his appreciation for the late Sultan.
