As part of The Inner Me series, Stomach and Lungs functions as a visceral geography of high-voltage emotion. I utilize a stark, colliding palette of red, blue, and white to translate emotional distress into a physical, internal kinetic energy. Inside the cavern of the torso, the stomach and lungs do not merely exist; they vibrate, agitate, and violently churn. This internal chaos is violently alive. However, this turbulent landscape is destabilized by a surreal juxtaposition: in the bottom left, a single, lovely little flower rests. This delicate form breaks the violence of the composition, serving as a silent monument to inner peace amid the visceral upheaval.
