SIMARIAN
This painting describes a fictional universe called Simarian.
If we, the inhabitants of Earth, want to understand what the Simarians think, we should look at their epics and ancient songs. This can help us better understand their language, forms and universal structure.
I created this work based on the Epic of Irn, an epic of the Simarian people.
One of the two figures above, named Luw, represents light and the other figure Khar represents darkness. Together they create the shapes.
Dragons are part of the dynamics that create the universe, they turn the wheels.
There are musicians downstairs. They sing the song of the universe and help create it. They represent feelings.
At the bottom of the picture we see some figures that represent the Simarian people. King, queen, soldiers, juggler and a maid.
Other figures in the picture and their meaning are as follows:
Kingdom of Jeram Sin: They appear in the forms of lions, and represent the standing and shining fire.
Kingdom of Nam Taru: They appear in the forms of bulls and represent stagnant and circulating air.
Kingdom of Tsirian: They appear in the shapes of fish, and represent the standing and flowing water.
Kingdom of Symar: They appear in the forms of snakes and represent the earth.
Kingdom of Tau: They appear in the forms of peacocks and represent the fleeting and invisible realms. They are the ones who give meaning. They are like breath blown into the body.
The Wise Men: The Wise Men do not belong to any kingdom or formation. They are very diverse and can be good or evil, deceptive or true. They represent the driving and attractive forces of development.
Pisces: They are the mind of creation, they represent thinking. They are not fixed in one place, they float from place to place. They carry those who ride them to their destination.
