Shadows III portrays a layered study of geometry and colour: deep greens and muted purples meet bold streaks of yellow and teal, while fine lines and rectangular planes create quiet structure. Textured surfaces and slow drips introduce movement and tension, and areas of wash let pigments blur into shadow. I worked to balance measured, architectural forms with more fluid passages so the composition feels both ordered and alive; hand-applied texture and subtle brushwork add depth and tactility.
