My work consists of figurative still-life paintings that consider the historical and contemporary significance of how we relate to objects within our daily lives. Typically, they focus on domestic interiors and collections of objects that people have acquired. Subjects range from display shelves and room corners to doll houses, mantelpieces, and cabinets of curiosities.
