Rosa Imposible (Impossible Pink )investigates color as experience rather than representation.
Working with a deliberately limited palette of ultramarine blue, light blue, yellow, and what I call Impossible Pink, I explore the moment when color begins to communicate beyond the objects it describes.
Rather than following a predetermined image, I paint intuitively, allowing each work to reveal itself through the process of making.
It is my intention that the viewer might feel color as movement, light, and presence.
As the eye travels across the two panels, the colors interrupt, and transform one another, creating an experience that changes through observation rather than narrative.
