Rooms of Light IV explores the relationship between light, space, and human presence.
A solitary figure stands within an imagined architectural environment, surrounded by intersecting planes of color and shifting fields of light. The composition creates a sense of movement and stillness at the same time, inviting viewers into a moment of quiet reflection.
Rather than depicting a specific place, the painting constructs an emotional space where geometry becomes a language of feeling. Warm and cool tones meet across the composition, suggesting transitions between memory and possibility, certainty and uncertainty.
Part of the ongoing Rooms of Light series, this work continues Jane M.'s exploration of silence, light, and the experience of standing at the threshold of transformation.
