The canvas is part of a series of works linked to the physical, visual, dreamlike and ideal clash with the object of the bed. The latter manifests itself as a theatre of internal battle, imaginary itineraries, sexuality, death, and bears the marks of these organic events. It is therefore exposed as the epitaph of these events, and its change tells the transformations of the being that inhabits it. It is, in fact, the true impalpable mystery that drives the artist to search: the self.
