It was the only place where I could find solace, even if just for a fleeting moment. In these moments, I try to focus on my breath and observe my surroundings. I notice the sound of birds chirping or the feel of the sun warming my skin. I let myself feel whatever emotions arise, but then I remind myself that they too shall pass.
I have also learned the importance of self-care during these times. Whether it's taking a long bath, going for a walk outside, or simply curling up with a good book, I give myself permission to take care of my needs. I try to be gentle with myself and remind myself that it's okay to not have all the answers or to not have it all together.
Through these moments of present awareness and self-care, I am able to find a bit of peace and clarity. And with each passing moment, I am reminded that I am strong enough to weather any storm that comes my way.
