The purple print of a male body blurs into a background of coffee, cinnamon, and curry stains. As the viewer is drawn into the orange-pink Milky Way, the penis and testicles hide in the lower left — almost as if they're waiting to get up to mischief. A sharp-eyed observer may notice shiny silver marks on the canvas — who spat them there?

While the painting invited visitors to come closer and inhale the scent of coffee and cinnamon, few realized they were sniffing around a penis. The scent is long gone now, but the memory of the encounter remains as vivid as ever.
