This is a further exploration of the landscape titled Flames. For me, it was a experimentation of this color combination, dominated by variants of purple, other cool tones and attempting to balance the color composition from there. This landscape differs from the first in that it looks extraterrestrial mostly due to the slash of yellow on the top right and the glowing turquoise beneath it. . The foreground is a variant of the first version but the pastel colors has taken solid form. The shapes are ambiguous but separated by the edges and the sense of depth by layering. The three vertical lines in the background feels intuitive to me, it reminds of a claw mark. Since it seems far away and blurred out, it may be some pillars from a collapsed structure or the outline of a massive building, so it seems ancient or the remains of something that was once holy.
