After a
conference on preservation of scripts and images, scientists came to the
conclusion “stone” being the most resisting, endurable and easily available
medium for it. Some of the oldest paintings and engravings of images that
become available to us today are hundred of thousands of years old.
Petroglyphs
and pictographs are valuable documents of the past that remains present in
them. My
painting goes further. In this work I try to remind us that the presence of the
past appears not only on rock surfaces but also in morphogenetic fields* in
which we exist and which we constantly create and which for me becomes
metaphorical “rock art”

energy) and are available throughout time and space without any loss of
intensity after they have been created”.
