One night, while I was waiting at the crossing lights driving back home, I noticed a peculiar gleam among the trees. It triggered memories of how I felt penetrating the thick vegetation of the amazonian forest for the first time. I captured that moment and mentally added it to the memory, and this painting is the result. The figure is not contemplating the nature, but rather penetrating the forest to face his fears.
