“Mulungu” is a poetic documentation of the exuberant flowering of the Mulungu tree, a native tree of the Atlantic Forest and part of the diet of the Muriqui, the largest monkey in the Americas, an endemic inhabitant of the Serra da Mantiqueira.
With vibrant colors in overlapping layers of paint and glazes, which compose an environment that evokes the nature of this environment, Mulungu is a double tribute to the local fauna and flora.
