"Moonlight Over the Ancient Walls" is a piece from my series "Hometown Colors in Blue Light," capturing the connection between architecture and nature in a moody composition. I created this painting using a mixed technique of acrylic and cyanotype. It features a soft, glowing moon shining through a misty sky, illuminating the weathered, ancient walls of a historic church in my hometown. The blend of delicate blue tones with warm earth colors creates a serene, almost mystical atmosphere. On the right side of the painting, the impressive facade of the old church emerges, appearing almost ghostly in the mist. With this work, I invite the viewer to immerse themselves in the mysterious ambiance of the night and feel the quiet grandeur of bygone eras.
