I like to start my paintings with a color gradient. Thats what inspires me for the rest of my creation. The contrast between the deep ocean blue and the light and bright pink adds a dreamy feel to the painting. "Dream in Blue" the title of the painting was inspired by the music I was listening to, the weather outside, and moments from my own life. As I painted, these elements blended together, and near the end, the colors and the irregular shapes came into place as if everything made sense.
