This project was preceded by a study on happiness, a study that eventually led me to the conclusion that knowing how to be truly happy, is a skil, a talThis body of work draws its inspiration entirely from social networks. I was trying to trace in my paintings the nature of the radicalizing and flattening the pursuit of happiness and success as appears in social media. The images in the series are collected from various sources on the Internet which I break down and create exaggerated scenes of joy and happiness. I wanted to express and even further ridiculed The fake, the shallow empathy, the obvious admiration images and reactions on social networks.
