Lorem
Ipsum is a
placeholder text used by designers, planners, programmers, and typographers as
filler for sketches and graphic tests. It is traditionally a text without
sense or literal meaning, serving exclusively as a visual or structural
guide. The title, Lorem Ipsum, takes inspiration from this typographic
tradition and transforms it into a conceptual device. Here, Lorem Ipsum
indicates the suspension of verbal language: the work shows that act,
relation, and perception can exist and manifest even when words are absent.
Art thus becomes a space in which language is suspended, and the energy of
action is manifested directly, without verbal mediation.
A football field: visually, the composition resembles a map or a tactical diagram. The green pitch is a space of action, a field of infinite possibilities, populated by trajectories, lines, and arrows. Signs, material and deictic interventions suggest movements, relations, and tensions. What is represented is not the match itself, but the invisible network of acts, gazes, and possibilities.
The
painting thus deconstructs linguistic writing: things occur in the absence
of time, signs and colors overlap, dissolving any narrative temptation. The
work does not aim to tell a story, but to render present the pure energy of
action, showing gesture, relation, and animal perception where language is no
longer sufficient to express. It is a secularized icon.
In
accordance with contemporary physics, in this space the painting explores the
invisible relationship that binds beings and the world, revealing the hidden
structure that sustains the appearance of the real. Art becomes a tool to
see the invisible, restoring the world’s ontological density, where the entity
is simultaneously itself (contained within its frame) and in relation with the
whole.
