This painting is part of the first series entitled Les Néreides. The name is a reference for the sea nymphs in greek mythology. Last August, I painted the series by the sea, in the mornings and listening to the sound of the waves. I explored blue with spontaneity. For Les Néreides, I painted around 80 paintings in one month.
