“Lake Natron” is inspired by the raw and otherworldly beauty of the Tanzanian salt lake, where mineral-rich waters create unique textures and muted, earthy tones.
Created with earth and acrylic, this piece reflects the natural processes of transformation, erosion, and crystallization. The surface is rich in organic textures, evoking landscapes shaped over time by nature’s invisible forces.
Soft layers of neutral colors blend with tactile elements, inviting a sense of calm and contemplation. The work expresses the delicate balance between life and stillness, strength and fragility.
Through this piece, I hope to create a quiet connection with nature, a moment where the viewer can pause, breathe, and feel grounded.
