In my new series Level I am working on creating illusions of surfaces and spaces on different levels. Organic forms and their embedding on different levels play an important role. It is a further exploration of how I will deal with the opposites of illusion and an assertive surface in the interplay of colors. In this particular painting I was imagine a walk through a jardin.
