My artistic practice focuses on examining the cognitive processes that underlie artistic creation My paintings develop through layered processes, with each layer addressing questions of control, intention, and chance in artistic creation. Sharply defined forms emerge through stochastic interactions between color and material behavior, while a deliberate limitation of direct compositional control allows texture, raw surfaces, and unintended marks to challenge conventional notions of refinement and precision. Acrylic and oil paints, complemented by spray paint and paint markers introduce varied textures and visual effects. Color selection is largely randomized, and each painting evolves without a predetermined final image. My paintings reflect the mind’s inner conflicts, where instinct meets deliberation, control negotiates with automatism, and decision intersects with habit. Through layered expression, my work traces how intent, awareness, and continuity shape a visual dialogue between thought and impulse.
