In Te Grate is a work with two jointed canvases. Some hints of the work's concept are expressed in the title. Te is "you" in French, which is used for people in closer relationships. Grate in English is to rub food/things to make them into smaller pieces. As a whole, 'Integrate' means to make things in 'one'.
During the current difficult situation, I was reading about inner selves, in Hegelian terms, and also two-separated element of 'male or female' at the same time. I was musing of my identity. At the end, I would like to embrace this almost-divided selves into a large container, and make a new 'self' again.
