Perfect, or im-perfect, is the title of the project of these engravings. The project wants to explore the boundary between perfect and imperfect, between completed and partially unfinished and therefore defective. Sometimes we tend to perfection, we seek perfection. But as we know, no one is perfect... Sometimes imperfection arrives as something out of tune, something not sought, something dictated by chance. Perfection reassures, protects, or perhaps cages. Imperfection destabilizes, disorients, or perhaps liberates. Perfection cannot manifest itself without imperfection. Just as imperfection cannot manifest itself without perfection. The boundary wavers...
