The template of this artwork is a small ballpoint pen scribble during a video conference in the homeoffice. Created in a purely intuitive way, I transferred the scribble sketch-like onto a large canvas. As always before painting I decided on the color scheme and background. With this picture, the intuitive work took place in advance as a scribble and on the canvas only in relation to the use of the chosen color palette. The result is a quite light (due to the light background and the many white and light yellow) abstract artwork, which gets its depth effect by high-contrast colors and the elaboration of fine details. Viewed from a distance, it appears more compact and coherent and, thanks to its abstract shape, allows various interpretations by the viewer, depending on the perspective and mood. I see a fish in this picture, hence the title, but I have already been told that a motorcyclist or knight with a helmet can be recognized. If you step closer to the picture, the many fine details and patterns can be seen, the overall impression is less noticeable. An image that creates different effects from a distance as well as from a close distance. A white tulip on a black background was also deliberately added to this picture at the end. It is a symbol of endless love and stands for the connection to my father, who was also an artist.
