This image is constructed of four panels but could be assembled of 444, and even then, it would not be finished. I want to show humanity - it is a bold intention, not really feasible. This multiplication gives me the impression that I am closer to fulfilling my intention. A grid covers the image; in each of the modules is a unique human figure. They look out of their colorful spaces; they also look colorful themselves. They create a carpet, a mosaic of a random pattern. I want the viewer to see this picture in their way. I don't want to tell him the tracking path. I want the image to shimmer, and encourage the viewer to jump between the grid modules, horizontally, vertically, diagonally. Encourage the viewer to come back to pay attention to selected characters. With this painting, I want to express my admiration for the diversity of the individual and the unique personalities of people.
