Project: “Imperfect World of Imperfect People”
In this project, the artist explores the beauty of the human being within an imperfect world.
External factors and imposed patterns are omnipresent, yet they are confronted by the pure light of beauty.
The work examines the problem of personal and social boundaries:
Where does imitation and integration into the system end,
and where does dependence on the social paradigm begin?
Take my eye
Try on my mouth
We are beautiful
You are beautiful
You are God, you are beautiful
I am beautiful
In the poem that illustrates one of the works from this series — “Gods on the Rainbow” — the idea of human unity is reflected: the similarity in both external and internal expressions. It speaks of people’s ability to share, transform, support one another, and remain beautiful while staying true to themselves — even in an imperfect environment where feelings are heightened and mutual support becomes even stronger.
"All people on earth are good, every single one of them."
— Fyodor Dostoevsky
