My pictorial research is articulated around the idea that the world is not exhausted on the surface. I am interested in exploring the subterranean and the invisible: that universe of roots, fungi, and mycelium that silently sustains life.
I work with compositions that organize three planes—subterranean, surface, and sky—interconnected by vertical elements that suggest continuity and flow. This gesture also echoes the alchemical principle “as above, so below,” where the hidden and the visible engage in a constant dialogue of transformation.
