They are fish, fried - observation of what the future may look like, where fish's organs are just foil. They are alive, still, flowing all around. This work was made with the intention to express the feeling state of fish while also creating space in a story - holes are made to fill in the gaps by the viewer - he can be a part of change. The hidden smoked cigarette behind the bandage symbolizes a hidden trauma surrounding the fish - it has no clue of what it consumes, the abrasive trash.
Overfishing is one of the main concerns surrounding sea life imbalance and biodiversity decline over the past few decades. Inside the fish, we can find such treasures as microplastic which influence human development, hormones and consciousness. This trend highlights human's never stopping drive to get as much as possible no matter how hurtful it may be to the ecosystem.
