When the fishermen in Sri Lanka hauled in their nets with great difficulty,
I watched them for a long time, talked to them and sat down with them.
Uncertain of catch in exploited seas. It was very few fish for so many people.
Our envirement is in danger, so is our livelihood. I wanted to express that in
my painting. And yet there was beauty in the moment.
In this image, the colors have been blurred, and the background almost disappears. A network structure was incoorporated into the image. The uncertain in fishing should be made clear by the indistinctly visible.
