CONCEPT
The work explores slime molds — organisms that are neither plants, nor fungi, nor animals, yet behave like an intelligent, responsive system. They form networks, make decisions and adapt to their environment. The watercolor translates this hidden logic of life into a visual language of movement, connection and organic pathways.
MEANING
“Entangled Beings” examines life beyond conventional categories. Slime molds reveal a form of existence built not on hierarchy, but on interdependence and continuous dialogue with the environment. The work becomes a metaphor for relationships between beings — quiet yet enduring, shaped by sensitivity, adaptation and mutual influence.
DESCRIPTION
The watercolor depicts branching, luminous forms inspired by the structure and behaviour of slime molds. Thin, fluid lines create a network of pathways, nodes and organic rhythms resembling a living system in motion. The composition merges the delicacy of the medium with precise, almost laboratory-like observation, highlighting dynamics of growth, flow and interconnectedness.
