Stigmergy is explained as the action of an individual that is able to modify the environment, leaving a trace of any kind which will be useful for those who will come after him. Exploring this concept, often linked to self-sufficient systems of ants which release their pherormone allowing other individuals to find their way to food sources, I researched and worked on human flows throughout countries; the movement of people is able overtime to leave an invisible trace made of word of mouth, told stories, visual landmarks and shared experiences for those who will decide to undertake the same journey.
