A portrait of the actress Michelle Pfeiffer, who plays Elvira in the film "Scarface".
The artwork is made from 13,000 recycled tobacco sticks.
The composition is based on six shades ranging from beige to burgundy, and the aim was to bring out the depth of the eyes and the malice in the smile to the fullest.
This work is a declaration of how a material, such as a cigarette butt, can truly be transformed, becoming totally unrecognisable and creating an expressive composition in the name of beauty.
