In my body works I m dealing with the childhood theme as a problematic society issue. childhood seems to present feelings of happiness. As we know, there is a lot of suffering regaeding childhood.
I use 'ready made' which calls Prizers. The Prizes were printed images of innocent children characters from children stories which were collected as a kind of a game. I use this ready made in my works in many kinds of techniques like sculpturing, assemblage , printing and embroidering. in this series i am using printing and embroidering.
The Prizes represent a language of innocent characters drawn in threads of knowledge and sadness. Looking at the works, the observer gradually and unwittingly grows feelings associated with childhood, the seam between awareness and dreaming, maturity versus infancy. Feelings of jealousy and terror arise, involving a family, social, or cultural context.
