Italia.
Ci costringe a rifare famiglia.
nostro divano.
Behind the bars
The First Aid and Reception Centers host foreigners
upon their arrival in Italy. In these centers, migrants receive the first
necessary medical treatment, are reported photos, can apply for international
protection. Subsequently, depending on their condition, they are transferred to
other types of centers. In all this time the reception centers, where you are
held to do all the necessary checks, can become real prisons.
And in our western society centered on productivity
and consumption, in which we continually run, the stop suddenly comes.
Stuck in the house for days and days, we deal with a
time of which we have lost the value, if it is not measurable in compensation,
in money.
In an era in which we had to delegate the growth of
our children to others, the virus closed schools and forced us to find
alternative solutions, to bring moms and dads together with their children. It
forces us to rebuild family.
Then we feel in prison, behind bars, with the
difference that we always remain free and comfortably seated on our sofa.
