Cybernetic codes, mute witnesses of
symbolic depths float in a rarefied light becoming irrevocable sensors of
Federica Scoppa's works. Circular shapes, restless structures of an idyllic
dimension sail as an essential spatiality in the ephemeral and hidden
fragmentation of imperceptibility. These forms of rare beauty take on a continuous
metamorphosis generating sinuous spirals, synthetic fluid threads of colour,
parallel overtures, of a dreamy organic flow. Whispered immateriality
transmigrates on the substrate spreading between unknown dizziness and sidereal
space-time impulses. Diaphanous vaporous reverbs sublimate towards interstellar
depths at the distant borders of memory. Cosmic swirls of an unexplored abyss
and dark vortexes of perceptual emptiness, transfiguring the unconscious beyond
the harmonious balance of figuration in the indefinite and vibrating tonal
sequences of the compositions.
Federica Scoppa's works live in an
arcane and mysterious dimension, conversing in the underlying silence of
figuration through an alchemical synthesis of shades. Silent lifeblood floats
in the dark atmosphere like an irrevocable dance shaping the space beyond the
transfigured boundaries of being. Light pervades the abstract and the unrepeatable
atmosphere, rarefied and mysterious in the pure iridescence of brightness. Glassy
transparencies, with simultaneous reflections, evoke new and delicate
transmutations of matter, now fragile and in the process of evaporation,
overwhelming and impetuous. ... Text by G. Guarneri
... Like the
blood running through our veins, like the sap of the trees, like the water of
the oceans, her glasses set perceptions in a liquid state to underline the
impossibility of humans to grasp and tell, even if only in a fragment, a whole
experience in an absolute way. Memory lives and moves within the mind, like a
constant flow of colours and flashes. And it is precisely this sensation of
fluidity that leads the observer to perceive themselves to be a navigator,
discovering the multiple interpretative possibilities that this technique
offers. ... Text by C. Corbò
... A dialogue that Scoppa transposes into the proposed
series where, in the perfection of the coloured circle and the thin square
sheet of glass, coloured backgrounds are a result of the sensations that
reproduce memories and emotions that have marked the artist's path of life. The
colours on the glass give shape to the works as if they were the mirror of her
soul. Scoppa is the Vitruvian Man of her works on glass, perfectly coming into contact
with the universe of her artistic world that lives through her hands. Everything
is life in the work of the artist. A reference to the Divine that is not only
manifested in the reference to the symbolism of the Gothic windows, but also
through the immutability of the centric form that encloses the explosion of chromatism
within the soul of the artist and induces the viewer to try to look beyond,
looking out to the spiritual dimension that is essential for human life. Text by E. La Rosa
... An
inexhaustible change, induced by the artist through the continuation of the
line: it isn’t only the circle that gives shape to her art, but also the
serpentine, the dynamic and sinuous, waves, spirals and half moons. Through creative
use of these elements, she manages to embody the motifs that flow through and shape
its life within the roundness, capturing its essence and becoming its own
creator of life, through the artistic medium. The substance of life, which is
in its constant reproduction, expands into a cosmic dimension, that in which everything
that is living finds its place. ... Text by L: Panetti
