Currents was made using the meteorological method for studying wave patterns at sea. The nature of the oceans and how they effect us on a subliminal level was something I was interested in breaking down into a raw form, and then reimagining it to reflect monetization and how we use nature as a commodity. Highlighting the material relationship we have with the oceans, I used screen printing methods with gold ink.
