“Crimson” is a journey through layered memory, flow, and gestural energy.
It pulses with emotion through a full-body, gestural dance across a large canvas. I don’t just paint; I move. Leveraging my entire body to pour, scrawl, drag, and push paint until it becomes a living rhythm. Built in layers of acrylic, graphite, charcoal, and dirty wash drips, the painting embodies memories surfacing a visual ledger of what’s buried beneath. Each mark flows into the next, sometimes resisting, sometimes surrendering.
It’s both structure and chaos. A collision of bold colors that speaks to friction between control and release. An unfiltered confession where internal reckoning meets embodied movement, and truth leaks out in color.
