In September 2026, I expanded the “Iron Oxidation” project to include "Copper oxidation", continuing my exploration of living matter and its capacity to shape the image independently. This new process introduced a colour previously absent from my work — turquoise, emerging through transformations on the surface of copper and contrasting with its warm, reddish tones. The next stage involved bringing both oxidation processes together within a single image, creating new chromatic relationships between grey, turquoise, rusty hues, and raw, unoxidised copper.
