I am attracted to these strange landscapes formed by these satellite colonies on the margins of large cities, mute points in the distance, with bright colours that surely look towards us with the same misunderstanding and curiosity, taking for granted that in those points of light there is life. Where do all these anonymous people come from? They seem to come from the land, adapting and moulding themselves to its geological whims as something organic that grows and merges with the landscape, attracted like moths to the light and the promise of the big cities.
I treat this series with great vitality, with a deep respect for life, vibrant strokes, naked colors, without evoking the inner world, but rather showing the life which we cling to with persistence, we are, we exist.
