Commedia Digitale reinterprets Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy through the visual language of the digital age. This diptych represents Purgatorio and Inferno, where classical symbolism merges with binary code and digital signs. In the second panel, the Colosseum becomes a contemporary vision of Hell, surrounded by nine concentric circles inspired by Dante’s Inferno. By bringing together one of the most iconic symbols of classical civilization and the language of technology, I explore the relationship between cultural heritage and the digital world. The work questions how technology transforms our perception of history, memory, and identity, and whether it preserves culture or gradually rewrites it.
