By exploring the visual and conceptual aspects of colonialism, my awareness of the legacy of colonization and its continuing impact on contemporary society has increased. This inspired me to create visual narratives that criticize, for example, the "human gardens of colonialism" and the current women's protests in Iran. Each work in itself is an investigation, where it challenges the viewer to confront their own prejudices and stereotypes about race, culture and identity.
The Color-Blind Society is a combination of historical knowledge, self-analysis and the actuality of the problems of the current era, which has led to some picturesque conclusions. Each painting served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices individuals make in their pursuit of justice and freedom, resonating with audiences on a deep emotional level. I added to a symbolic visual language hidden identities and layers of complexity and meaning that invited the viewer to contemplate the stories behind each image.
