Breakthrough

Abstract landscape has emerged from my observation of micro world, I take inspiration especially in trees with leafs and barks, soils, and movement of water.

Nature's origine becomes spontaneous expression on paper carrier, where I utilise selfmade tools, and dry pigments. To create rich texture and spiral movement, while searching inner optical tension in the composition, I start from the center, or nucleus, to jump into gestual mood. Thin and dotted line makes contrast in pictorial structured surrounding. I must take preparation to think through before the gesture of the hand, since no second action is allowed. To achive harmony within formal visual elements, I value question of limitation, timing in the flow, and saturation of material.
