Concept:In "Berlin in Blue," I sought to encapsulate the essence of Berlin, a city known for its free-spirited nature, but from the unique perspective of my Best friend. A decade ago, our paths diverged – I embarked on a journey to Sydney, Australia, while my closest companion ventured to Berlin, Germany.
Throughout the past ten years, I had the privilege of hearing my friend's tales of Berlin over the phone. His vivid descriptions and anecdotes stoked my curiosity. My chance finally arrived in August 2023 when I visited Berlin, and it was there that I fell head over heels for this vibrant metropolis. However, my love for the city was profoundly enriched because I had the opportunity to perceive it through his eyes, not merely as a tourist.
The central theme is the color blue, chosen to honor my best friend's affection for this hue, making it an indelible part of our shared experience.
