Created entirely with cosmetics, this work transforms beauty products into a conceptual medium for questioning identity and social perception.
The three anonymous figures are bound together by a single ribbon, which symbolizes the standards of beauty and social norms imposed by society. Rather than connecting the figures, the ribbon functions as an invisible force that shapes, restrains, and standardizes individual identities.
By removing facial features, the work shifts attention away from personal identity toward the persona constructed through external expectations. Using cosmetics not as tools of beautification but as artistic material, the work explores how identity is continuously performed and negotiated under the pressure of the collective gaze.
