Siècle / Decorative Mural Panel

Siècle ( Century) is an original artwork currently in progress in my studio in France. This unique piece draws inspiration from 18th-century Italian & French ornamental sculpture, reinterpreting its decorative richness, expressive forms and refined craftsmanship.

Built around an architectural bay framed by an ornate surround and crowned with a richly decorated pediment, the composition pays tribute to the excellence of European decorative arts. Volutes, sculptural motifs and ornamental rhythms form a visual language inherited from the Italian Baroque tradition and reimagined through a contemporary artistic approach.
