"Performative Drawing: Artist Studio" is a special series running from 2021. Starting from the Austrian artists around her, Xian went to different cities and countries to visit and record artist studios in detail. Xian attempts to observe, document, and present the space of artwork creation from another perspective. Relative Louise Lawler, her work raises questions about the production, circulation, and presentation of art. Xian hopes to touch upon and think about the process and spatial status of artworks before and during creation, that is, the multiple relationships between artists, artworks, and art creation spaces.
