Human beings have asymmetrical bodies and faces, that not even the most prepared plastic surgeons can bring them to perfect symmetry.
Asymmetry is part of our lives, and our brain is prepared to accept it, although it is always looking for beauty in people with almost perfect symmetry, this is due to our instinct that seeks to perfect the species.
The beauty of asymmetry is right in that game that almost becomes music for our eyes, from the moment in which the brain analyzes in micro-seconds that face that is in front of us. The features of this asymmetry also allow us to remember and then recognize that person when we meet him again.
In this series in which I work on asymmetrical faces with irregular circles, I seek to make the viewer reflect on the stereotype of beauty that has been imposed on us over the years and that we feel as if it were taken from a manual with rules that we must comply with.
Asymmetry also attracts, it is also beautiful and it is also human.
