Ruinous
Like an earthquake that breaks the ground in two
Shattering what is built without mercy
And turning cracks into valleys
An entity was torn apart
And set to face new horizons
As each breath was felt with pain
They witnessed the growing distance
Accompanied by grief and longing
They moved further and further away
An aching farewell

An aching farewell focuses on the part of self actualisation results into leaving systems that were part of the old self, parts that no longer serve you in the next level of your journey. And learning how to accept to leave this behind in order to make space for newness to take its place.
