Beyond the last horizon, there existed a sea capable of transforming everything it touched. It didn't transform stone into gold, as the ancient alchemists sought; it transformed restlessness into serenity and silence into light.
They called it the Alchemical Tide.
Its blue waters met the clarity of the sky, and when the golden light touched the surface, the sea seemed to open itself to infinity. It is said that whoever remained before it long enough would end up forgetting the noise of the world and hearing only what they carried within themselves.
Perhaps this sea never existed. Or perhaps it exists whenever someone finds, for a few moments, the balance between what they feel and what they imagine.
